Foreign doctors report that many doctors in Indonesia have died due to the corona virus.
In the first 17 days of this month alone, 114 doctors died of the virus. The deaths are reported to have been caused by the rapidly spreading Delta variety in Indonesia. The Indonesian Medical Association states that the total number of doctors who died due to the virus was 545. However, about 95 percent of the country’s health care workers have received both doses. The association says the health sector is currently unable to control the rapid spread of the virus in Indonesia.
